Vidéo de 41 minutes.
This balloon was launched from Rochester,NY and was last seen heading towards Lake Ontario towards Bellville or Kingston Ontario Canada. The milliwatt transmitter @ 28.224 (approx) was heard for over 5 hours. The payload may still be operating from solar cells and presumed to have possibly landed on the North Eastern portion of the lake.Could have easily made landfall in Canada.Last heard with beam antenna was North East from Rochester,NY.I urge radio amateurs to scan the frequency for possible signs of this transmitter.73

DOCUMENTATION PREALABLE :
Balloon beacon #2
This
Saturday at 7-8:00 am EST (approx) I am planning to send
another 10m beacon on a balloon from
my QTH.
Using the same transmitter from last June that was recovered by hunters.
Seems to work as well as it did on the first flight and to save myself
time,going to reuse it.
If all goes well, hoping some of you have the time to give a listen @ about
28.224 mhz (+ or -).
Looking for duration and distance on this thing rather than high altitude
and burst.
I may also have it live at launch site using USTREAM.
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/n2nxz
After the launch,my plan is to walk home and get on my rig and listen.
After the live USTREAM launch, those interested and monitoring can chat
here on an unused forum I had for a few years...may as well use it for
something.
This project may be postponed in the event something fails as not to spend
senseless dollars on helium.Fingers crossed all goes as planned.
