ANNONCE BALLON AUSTRO-B le 9 novembre 2014 :
The next November 9 at 14 UTC is planning to launch a floater balloon with
a payload call AUSTRO-B from the
town of San Vicente, 30 km south of the city of Buenos Aires
The payload will consist of an home made Arduino, a UHF transceiver and GPS
receiver ublox Microcontroller.
The microcontroller is an Arduino board with an ATMEGA328 redesigned
encapsulated TQFP generated code RTTY
50 baud 8 bits, 2 stop bits, no parity and 475 hz shift.
The transmitter has a power of 50 mW, and a 1/4 wave antenna. All the
electronics is integrated on a printed
board 3.5 x 4 cm and 18 grams
For the reception UHF equipment is needed in USB mode, a PC running any
program as FL-Digi, TrueTTY or MixW.
The format of the frame sent is:
ID
time
latitude
longitude
height
number of Satellites
temperature Microcontroller
temperature Power Amplifier
last RSSI
checksum of the frame
RTTY mode
Rate: 50bd 8N2
Shift: 475 Hz
Frequency transmission 435.795 / USB
Five frames of telemetry every three minutes, so as to save energy is sent.
The set is powered by a lithium battery 3.6V / 300mA. The total payload
weighs 25 grams and will be lifted by
a mylar balloon of a meter in diameter inflated with helium.
