The school's tracker (SKYBLUE1) is an NTX2 doing RTTY.
My tracker is RTLS1, using LoRa only. The telemetry has quite a few sensor values plus a landing predictor and other stuff, so the sentence is quite long, but with the relatively high data rate the update speed is better than 1Hz. The hardware is an original Pi Zero with a prototype PitsZero board plus BME280 (temperature/pressure/humidity) and LSM303 (3-axis compass/accelerometer).
Predicted burst is 35km and predicted landing is 15 miles or so west of here, so an easy chase if we can avoid the Welsh hills.
Payload IDs etc are:
* SKYBLUE1 - RTTY, 434.650MHz, 550Hz shift, 50 baud 7N2 USB
* RTLS1 - LoRa, 434.450MHz, mode 1 (20.45kHz / SF6 / EC5:8, implicit header)
