Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Project HiBal l is pleased to announce the flight of ERAU-29. This high altitude balloon flight will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. MST (1600 UTC). The launch site is currently TBD but will be chosen to provide a flyover of the student ground station at the ERAU campus. The lift vehicle will be a 2000 gram weather balloon, filled with hydrogen. The expected burst altitude will about 90,000 feet. The flight is anticipated to last about 2 hours from launch to touchdown. The balloon will carry student-built BalloonSat payloads destined to fly during the Solar Eclipse of August 2017. This will be a test flight to exercise the automatic tracking system and determine practical range distance for the improved video, still camera and tracking payloads APRS Beacons will accompany the flight transmitting position information as follows: N7ERU-11 on 144.340 MHz, 0,30 sec Mic-E format APRS N7ERU-12 on 144.340 MHz, 10,40 sec, Mic-E format APRS KA7NSR-7 on 445.925 MHz,
